It seems like we all start out the new year with a lot of discipline where fitness is concerned. Everyone gets busy as the year goes on but I think women's lives, in general, get filled up very quickly with work, children, cooking, laundry, etc. So what often happens is our workout is the first thing we sacrifice when trying to make more time.
I just saw something on the news about the "Red" heart health campaign for women. Heart disease is on the rise and as we live busier, more stress filled lives, our hearts are at risk. The last thing we should be sacrificing is our workout!!
This is why I love the fact that Mike has a free online workout because you can squeeze it in when you have no time to make it to the gym or when you are traveling for business and just want to chill in your hotel room at night. Even if you carve out 20 min. in your day to put on some music and do part of the workout it's better than nothing.
It's got to be all about YOU sometimes--because let's face it, most of the time it's all about everyone else BUT you!! We have to take care of ourselves and not let that time for our workout be sacrifed. Your workout is a condensed dose of feel good energy, self-esteem boosting, and a practical healthy habit. Don't give it up. We are worth it!!
